About Me

I am a Kindergarten Teacher and hold a PhD in Science Education. I design and deliver Science workshops for children aged 4 to 12. I teach at Public Institutes of Vocational Training (IEK) and conduct adult‑education seminars in the Natural Sciences.

I am also a researcher collaborating with the Department of Early Childhood Education at the University of Ioannina.

In addition, I work with non‑formal education spaces and museums, where I organize hands‑on Science workshops. I love music, and I am also a mother to a primary‑school‑aged daughter.

Why I Chose My Career

From a young age, I enjoyed teaching younger children and had a natural ability to communicate with them. As I grew older, I chose to study Early Childhood Education, and after graduating, I turned to research—specifically Science Education for young learners, a field that had not yet been fully developed at the time.

Even today, I continue my research through my ongoing collaboration with the University of Ioannina, while remaining deeply connected to classroom practice. I believe that real change and innovation in education begin at the foundational level.

Why I Became a Volunteer at R.E.A.L Science

In my effort to support young people in their career orientation, I believe I can offer alternative ideas and meaningful guidance. My involvement in different areas related to my field allows me to share practical insights and experiences that can help students make informed decisions.
