A few words About Me
I recently completed my Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Biology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During my studies, I had the opportunity to work in various laboratories—both diagnostic and research‑oriented—gaining valuable experience and knowledge. My goal is to pursue a career in research, and I am currently exploring postgraduate programs in Central Europe.
Why I Chose My Career
Until the first year of high school, Biology didn’t particularly interest me—until the curriculum introduced the human body and its systems. In the following years, when we began learning about DNA replication, what DNA actually is, and how it works, I realized how much I truly loved the subject. Of course, my high‑school Biology teacher played a huge role in this; she became a mentor to me.
Why I Became a Volunteer at R.E.A.L Science
During my studies, I completed my teaching practicum in high‑school classrooms, where I witnessed firsthand the challenges many students face. I’m happy to say that I managed to spark their interest—even if just a little—and help them appreciate Biology more. I want to continue supporting young people, helping them discover their love for Biology and answering any questions they may have.
