A few words About Me

I completed my Undergraduate Studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and pursued Postgraduate Studies in Biomedical Sciences and Biological Resource Management. In recent years, I have been involved in various volunteer initiatives focused on communicating biology to the general public.

Why I Chose My Career

The truth is, I didn’t always want to become a biologist. The common advice was: “To do well in Biology, you have to stay glued to the book.” Through my academic journey, however, I learned to question the world around me and search for ways to interpret it. That curiosity—this constant “digging” into how things work—is exactly what biologists do. And it was this process, which is anything but “staying close to the book,” that made me fall in love with Biology.

What could be better than spending your free time talking about how amazing Biology is?
