A few words About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Giorgos, and I am a final‑year student at the School of Dentistry of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Alongside my studies, I am actively involved in music and singing. I am a member of the volunteer group “O.F.O.I.S.” of the Dental School, through which I have participated in numerous activities such as blood drives, free oral‑health check‑ups at the school and at the mobile dental unit at the Thessaloniki International Fair, as well as oral‑hygiene awareness events in primary schools and in public spaces.

At the same time, I am part of the duo “Epi Ptychio The Band,” where we create humorous, student‑themed songs. For me, music and singing have always been a refuge at every stage of my life—a way to express emotions and a source of joy and creativity.

Why I Chose My Career

I have always admired people who work in healthcare, and this admiration grew stronger as I got older. I am naturally a giving and supportive person, and I try to help those around me however I can. The combination of these traits played a decisive role in choosing my career path.

Why I Became a Volunteer at R.E.A.L Science

As I mentioned earlier, I am someone who loves giving back, and I want to contribute as much as possible to help students decide which direction to follow. When I was a student myself, I loved hearing the experiences of people in different fields and learning how they made their choices. Now, it would be a great joy for me to share my own story and talk about the profession I chose.
