A few words About Me
I am a biologist and a graduate of the Department of Biology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. I completed my studies in 2006 and then pursued a PhD focusing on the study of the TLR signaling pathway in patients with CLL. Afterwards, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at BRFAA within the framework of the ARISTEIA I programs, conducting research on renal fibrosis.
I am married and a mother of two children, and I currently work as an external collaborator on research projects, teach courses related to the biological sciences and Medicine, and write articles and books in the same field.
Why I Chose My Career
Biology captivated me from my school years. I believe it holds incredible beauty and offers the opportunity to work in research, education, and a wide range of applied fields.
Why I Became a Volunteer at R.E.A.L Science
After speaking with Ms. Sinopoulou, I learned about the vision of this project and was immediately excited. Through my involvement in education, I understand how essential it is to make science accessible and approachable to everyone—beyond what formal schooling provides. It will be a pleasure to contribute in any way I can.
