A few words About Me
I am a Biochemist–Biotechnologist with a research interest in Immunology. I graduated from the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology at the University of Thessaly and completed my Master’s degree at the Medical School of the same university. My research interests include Immunology, nutrition, and pharmaceuticals. In my free time, I enjoy sports and I also work as a football referee.
Why I Chose My Career
A few years ago, when it was time in high school to decide what career path I wanted to follow, I wasn’t sure. I knew I liked Biology and the Health Sciences, but I had never heard anyone explain in detail the different university departments and their advantages in this field. When I discovered the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, I was excited by the wide range of areas this discipline interacts with and contributes to.
Why I Became a Volunteer at R.E.A.L Science
In Greece, I believe that career guidance is insufficient. For this reason, I want to help young students as much as possible to follow the direction they truly want by explaining, as clearly as I can, what research really means and by answering any questions they may have.
