About Me
I hold a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. After completing my Undergraduate Studies, I continued with a Master’s and a PhD in Applied Mathematics. My main motivation for this shift in field was that mathematics provides a systematic framework for understanding the physical world and technology, both qualitatively and quantitatively.
After completing my PhD, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Automatic Control Department at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. For the past two years, I have continued my academic path as a postdoctoral researcher in the broader field of automatic control at UC San Diego.
Why I Chose My Career
My long‑standing interest in the sciences — and especially in mathematics — naturally led me toward this career path.
Why I Became a Volunteer at R.E.A.L Science
I would be delighted to share my enthusiasm for science with young students and offer information that can positively support their academic and career choices.
