A few words About Me

I’m Angeliki, a final‑year student in General Biology, and soon I will begin my Master’s studies in Cancer Biology with a focus on Immunology. As a naturally curious person, I constantly seek new opportunities to communicate scientific findings clearly and effectively to the public. In my free time, I engage in activities that bring me joy and emotional balance, and I volunteer as a team leader in the Youth Department of the Cyprus Red Cross.

Why I Chose My Career

From a very young age, Biology was my favorite subject because it answered many of my questions about how life is organized and functions at every level. Over the years, I realized that studying this field—and exploring every pathological deviation from what is considered “biologically normal”—was the natural next step for me. Beyond that, my involvement in research stems from a deep desire to contribute to society and to help generate new knowledge that can be applied clinically.

Why I Became a Volunteer at R.E.A.L Science

R.E.A.L. Science gives me the opportunity to be inspired and to inspire others. Choosing a career path is a crucial process that must be built methodically and with proper guidance. Accurate information combined with meaningful stimuli helps shape a clearer understanding of the scientific world, freeing students from rote learning and misconceptions. After all, the fascinating world of Biology is waiting for us to explore it—and improve it.
