About Me

I completed my undergraduate studies in Tourism Business Administration at the Athens University of Applied Sciences (ATEI) and my Master’s degree in Tourism Management at the Hellenic Open University. I then attended and completed the one‑year Pedagogical and Teaching Competence Program at ASPAITE in Heraklion, Crete.

I have been working as a secondary‑education teacher for 18 years and I am a certified adult educator. At the same time, I remain active in various professional collaborations, having worked with the Institute of Educational Policy as well as several public and private organizations, always in fields related to education and tourism.

My multidimensional involvement with different sectors and people has enriched both my professional and academic experience. Since December 2021, I have been a PhD candidate in the Department of Business Administration and Tourism at the Hellenic Mediterranean University, with my research focusing on the digital transformation of the tourism economy.

Why I Chose My Career

Many factors contributed to the path I followed. Initially, I had a natural inclination toward learning foreign languages and a desire to meet and assist tourists. As I progressed in my studies, I came to believe in the broader potential of tourism — not only as a driver of economic development (a narrow view that often prevails), but as a social force capable of making the world fairer and more sustainable.

Why I Became a Volunteer at R.E.A.L Science

Students in Greece need accurate and accessible information from professionals across different fields. Platforms like R.E.A.L Science play an important role in connecting students of all levels with accomplished scientists. Technology, when used effectively, allows even students in the most remote schools to access guidance and make informed decisions about their studies and their future.
I deeply believe in the new generation and support every initiative that aims to inform and empower them
