A few words About Me

I am an active and motivated person who enjoys reading and gaining new knowledge—whether general or directly related to my field of study. I like to use my time creatively and productively. I work well in teams, and I approach everything I do with passion, choosing activities that I genuinely enjoy and that fulfill me. I take responsibility seriously and always aim to complete whatever I undertake to the best of my ability. I am patient, yet ambitious when it comes to my academic and professional goals.

Why I Chose My Career

To be honest, my dream was to become a doctor—or at least that’s what I believed. However, my performance in the national exams “pushed” me toward Pharmacy, not once but twice. Certain circumstances also prevented me from studying Medicine in the UK, where I had been accepted, and ultimately led me to the School of Pharmacy at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Since I was young, I wanted to help people, and I believed Medicine was the best way to do that. I am deeply fascinated by surgery, which is why I still consider pursuing Medicine after completing my first degree.

However, Pharmacy has turned out to be an interesting and evolving science that captures my interest more and more over time. Combined with the research I am currently involved in, I keep discovering new professional paths that excite me. Through Pharmacy, I also realized that I enjoy research—something I had underestimated in previous years.

Why I Became a Volunteer at R.E.A.L Science

I have always loved the idea of living abroad because I appreciate the organization and discipline that often characterize other countries—qualities that are sometimes lacking in Greece—and I feel I can thrive in a structured environment.

With that in mind, the idea of showcasing the careers of Greeks abroad and creating a community where people support one another and share ideas and knowledge is extremely important. That is why I want to be part of this initiative.
